At American Cellar, customer satisfaction is our priority. We strive to provide you with quality products delivered as quickly as possible. However, certain specific conditions apply to returns, particularly due to the food-related nature of our products.
1. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-18of the Consumer Code, you have 14 days right of with drawal from receipt of your order.
However, this right does not apply to perishable food products, in accordance with article L221-28 of the same code, in particular:
- Confectionery (candies, chocolates, chewing gum, etc.)
- Edible products with a short expiration date
- Opened, unsealed or started products
Therefore, confectionery sold on the site cannot be returned or refunded, except in cases of non-conformity or defect.
2. Non-compliant or defective products
If you notice an error in the order (incorrect reference, damaged product, missing quantity), you have 24 hours after receiving your package to report the problem to us, by sending an email to cellaramerican@gmail.com
Please attach to your message:
- A precise description of the problem
- Clear photos of the product concerned and the packaging
After verification, and depending on the case, we will proceed:
- Upon return of the compliant product,
- Full or partial reimbursement,
- When issuing a credit note.
3. General return conditions (if applicable)
For non-food products (for example accessories, derivative objects), returns are accepted under the following conditions:
- The product must not have been opened or used
- It must be returned in its original, undamaged packaging
- Return must be made within 14 days of receipt
The return is at the Customer's expense, unless an error is confirmed by American Cellar.

4. Return procedure
Before any return, please contact our customer service at cellaramerican@gmail.com for return authorization and specific instructions. No returns will be accepted without prior approval .
5. Reimbursement
Once the return has been received and validated, the refund (if applicable) will be made within a maximum of 14 days, depending on the payment method used when ordering.
