We're Cosette and Alexandre, two slightly crazy dreamers who decided to turn their love for American culture into a true entrepreneurial adventure. ❤️

It all started with a simple dream : bring a piece of the United States to France ! Because honestly, there's nothing more beautiful than bringing home those iconic American flavors : a jar of peanut butter, colorful cereal, or a soda you spotted in an American movie.

We've always been inspired by the American spirit : boldness, optimism, dreams and freedom. These are the values that inspired us to create American Cellar : an online store dedicated to authentic American products.

Our mission ? To help American expats in France to find a little bit of home here, and also to let all lovers of U.S. culture discover the iconic flavors and products from across the Atlantic. 🇺🇸

Where some might just see a simple jar of peanut butter, we see the success of HB Reese : the Hershey's employee who, in the 1920s, had the brilliant idea to combine chocolate and peanut butter. A symbolic product that even found its way into te rations of American soldiers during World War II, bringing them a moment of sweetness and comfort.
